DEMOCRACY

By Keith Edward Torkelson

Did you ever hear about democracy?

Did you ever know why democracy needs bureaucracy?

I think that it goes like this.

In the beginning we created a democratic form of government.

It was impossible to represent all the individuals

All in the same spot

All at one time

In one given place, such as Washington DC

(horn part of song)

Well to facilitate these individuals we

We created Kurt Olsons and

and Brad Statums, Mike Mc Mahans

And all those other coked up lunatics

Well we can save these people

All they need is your hand

Give them your hand and your dollar

and we will save them today

There are many others across these United States

            who are just like them

I shall be their representative

Please send all donations to at this address

All Right

Did you ever hear of a great democracy?

Did you ever wonder why a democracy

            Needed a bureaucracy?

DOUBTING THE CLIENT

By Keith Torkelson

“Of all the gin joins in the world I end up here (Bogart)”

I would like to transfer some of my feelings

I came in anger with you

            And those like you

To fire you

They say that you teach people

            How to treat you

I’m teaching you wrong

I wish to always be trusted

            Especially my word

I am honest

On our last meeting you indicated that you doubted my word

I don’t need people doubting me

Ever

Cause I have too much to feet

To say

The air of doubt is unacceptable

I guess that I’m teaching you wrong

For all my defects

One is not lack of integrity

I earned that with my heart

At this point I now continue to doubt you

Your skill level

Your honesty

Your worth to me

I is hard to believe that I am paying for a Doubting Laura…

Might consider this field before you hurt someone else

End

SHE TOUCHES ME

By: Keith Torkelson

July 7, 1997

It's a pleasure

Living clean with you

With all that we've been doing

You are there for me

Awaken Elaine (Robin Doyle)

Good morning

Time to live

You warm hearted woman

I'm happy for you

Moving on and upward

Wishing the best for you

Have I told you lately?

How much I appreciate you

Each day I rediscover you

You're changing my life

I love you!

Best of friends!

I love you!

CLOSEFILE: CRIME

September 18,1987

John K. Van De Kamp

Attorney General - State of California

Department of Justice

Statement;

Dear Mr. Torkelson,

NO RECORD

As early as 1964

I hit the crime road

From then on,

Didn't know,

but I was serving time...

May one day elaborate

For the good of others

This will suffice for the moment

By the age 21

The cuffs road my wrists thrice

To remove them

I performed our states bidding

Yet,

For the actions

The state could not correlate

I sentenced myself:

7 years hard time in the mind!

Big G knows - We worked it off

Thank you GOD!

Now...now I'm back on the prime road!

GIRL ENERGY

By: KE Torkelson

(06-20-95)

Majorly censored

Girl Energy!

Magnificent!

Stupendous fervor

The exclamation part

Power and glory

Is that how they started that song?

Pony-tail hair down to their butts

Smokin only on Saturdays

The floor exercise

Beautiful bodies that compliment

Touch Co. Unlimited!

Hearts on fire set free

That Girl Energy!

HOME SAFE HOME

By Keith Torkelson

March 13, 2002

All my rooms

The safe and the abominable

Let tell you about my rooms

And how I found home safe home

He said: “Is this your private sanctum?”

I said: “Yes.”

And it was

Wonderful

I had inadvertently created a safe home

No yelling

A time when the drugs worked for us

Not against

Today I christen my new home a home with no substances of abuse

A home of no anger

A home of no fear

Few crazing noises

My new sanctum in my home safe home

God bless this home

I am coming to believe.

The foreignness of a hospital bed and hospital environment is gone.

[Feelings pause]

A realization unprecedented in my life

INTENSE FEELING

by KE Torkelson

(05-22-95 @ Palo Alto, Dana Point, CA............)

The emotion -

          So strong

The feel -

          Intense tingles

Your eyes -

          Deep into forever

Ears to kiss

Neck to nibble

Touching tongues

Massaging your thighs

Kneeding your you rear-end

Your top at attention

So strong -

          The emotion

Tingles in waves -

          “The Feel”

Bluest & deep -

          Your eyes

Intense feeling

Without a ceiling

Emotion so strong.

Journal Entry: March 30, 2003: Regarding Joan Zhorne

By Keith Edward Torkelson

Dear God,

I visited

Greg Stedman today

Asked him if her wanted to be

Friends

He said,

“I thought we were”

I said, “The hanging out type friends”

He agreed

Joan read my E-mail to her last night - To my surprise

When she left a message today

She still wished to

Get together for my birthday

She treated me to

Genghis Khan Mongolian BBQ

Afterwards

We did some smooching

And

She said that she would

Address the E-mail

Later - This week

Love Keith.

Note

Joan did not like communicating by computer.  I did because I could get her wishes in writing and work on them.  2003 was our 5th year together.  We went on to be together until 2016 more than 16 years! These poems and this prose are products of my prescribed journaling.

Katrina (Katrina’s perspective)

By Keith Edward Torkelson

September 2, 2005

Kill as many as I may

Attempt to mark those in my path for life

Terrible wind and water, the storm surge

Raining on their hearts

Indescribable physics reeking disasters

Not all could infer my actual based on my predicted

Attacking, killing, terrorizing, I swirled into New Orleans in late August 2005 I was Katrina remember me
