Purposes of Our Cemetery
In many cases death is facilitated by others. We write this paper to
provide some accountability and transparency about those we knew who passed away in a non-graceful manner. This
paper also tries to resolve stigma surrounding death in general. Our overall
effort is digital or virtual preservation. We feel this is history that
deserves remembering and for those we addressed in this paper we wish them the
best in the afterlife. We have yet to
determine the nature of existence after one expires.

Seeing a deceased family member
is a deeply personal, often shocking
experience, and there is no "right" way to react. Normal
responses include profound sadness, numbness, or even "graveyard
humor" to cope with the shock. It is essential to ground yourself, accept
your emotions, and, if necessary, seek support from others.

The Story – Joan “Marie” Nemec-Zhorne
It was cold for Joan growing up in Iowa. I know so little of certain about Joan’s past. She was part of a family of four: Dad, mom
and sister. She attended Catholic School
and wore a uniform. At one point she
reports owning: A TR Sports Car, a
Harley Motorcycle, and a Hemicuda. She
had a serious auto accident in the TR landing under a big rig. He father’s response was to have Joan sell the
TR. Joan reports her father was a
surgeon serving Cedar Rapids Iowa. He
owned a Packard car. Joan met up and
married a man and they had two daughters.
They got divorced and Joan took custody of the kids. Because of the winter cold Joan set her sights
on moving her family to California. She
may a lived in-between Iowa and California on the route over. Joan got a factory inspector job. She raised her daughters the best she could.
Around 1998 Buster landed a temp job working for Brother International
servicing printers over the telephone.
Later after Joan and Buster got together Joan would say: “You are my
knight in shining armor.” She also
called Buster - Juan a few times (Fantasy). Buster has been with quite a few
females. The stakes with Joan were high.
Up until Joan Buster had never awoke in a bed with a gal next to him in the
morning. The stakes of the relationship
was for Buster to have a glorious long term relationship. Joan and Buster were together on and off for
twenty years (1998-2018). The last two
years was a phone relationship for she was in Colorado and Buster in California.
Several things disrupted Buster’s relationship with Joan. We addressed these more deeply in other
studies. Joan had a tendency to “Ghost”
Buster just when things seemed right.
The things that worked against them were few. Buster had no one to regularly talk about his
relationship with Joan. In twenty years
they had quite the journey as recorded in photographs. The victory for them was that they parted on
good terms. Joan succumbed to dementia
and Buster has the impression that she passed away. The moral of the story is to maintain your
virtues in the face of hardship.
Ritualistically Buster is routinely mindful of Joan and what they
achieved. In the end Joan stated on
numerous occasions that: “You are the most honest man I have ever met”.

He looked to his line for answers. His father had participated in the Pacific Campaign of WW2 (The big one).
