Ruben James Duron Rule Making – Harvest
Roommate 1
>On June 20, 2024, Buster
graduated from Leisure Court Skilled Nursing to Harvest Retirement. Our initial Rent a Shared Roommate was Ruben
James Duron (RJD). We let him do most of the rulemaking. RJD was a moribund older adult man: Leg amputated, wheelchair bound,
in constant pain, could not sleep squarely in his bed, dialysis three times per
week, etc. In November of 2024, he had a
fall and was taken to the Emergency Room.
They, Kaiser Hospital, admitted him.
He died within a month on December 7, 2024 (Expired). We had the opportunity to live RJD nearly 6
months.
Moribund
Moribund describes something near death, in a state of terminal decline, or stagnant (e.g., a
"moribund economy"). Synonyms include dying, declining, stagnant, and
obsolete, while antonyms include thriving, flourishing, and lively..
John Baer Rule Making – Harvest Roommate
3
>Today’s date is March 11,
2026 (W). After RJD’s expiration Harvest
eventually moved us in with John Baer (JB).
Over the course of a month JB and Buster negotiated about
preferences. See: 08_Roommate_Negotiations_25061701_Notes. On February 28 2025 (F-Real Time) John and Buster’s
matching and harmony score was 99.0%. We were satisfied with JB and JB
indicated he was satisfied with Buster. Unfortunately, JB died. We have been solo since August
4, 2025. When we get a new roommate, our
goal is to address negotiations
over the course of the first week or so.
Dedication
>We dedicate this study to
those who we knew died or expired
in 2024 & 2025: John Tviede, Romer Paulino, Kevin George Torkelson, Theodore
Francis, Ruben James Duron, Candace Dawn “Candy” Torkelson-Brinsko, and John
Baer.

Sometimes just writing your
concerns down is of help.
Numerous studies and mental health professionals confirm that writing down your concerns can be very helpful
for managing stress, anxiety, and
general emotional well-being. This practice, often called expressive
writing or journaling, provides a safe
and private outlet for processing
difficult thoughts and feelings.

The Sequential Organ Failure
Assessment (SOFA)
The Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score is a scoring
system that assesses the performance
of several organ systems in the body (neurologic, blood, liver, kidney,
and blood pressure/hemodynamics) and assigns a score based on the data obtained
in each category.
Introduction - Approaches to
Evaluating Satisfaction
>Metric – A metric is “A system or standard of measurement.” For the purpose of this report, measuring includes:
Assessing, evaluating, testing, surveying, etc.
There are several ways to acquire an assessment tool or instrument: Acquire
a Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) instrument, derive one from scratch, modify
an existing one, transform one, append to an existing one, etc.
COTS
>"Commercial Off-the-Shelf"
(COTS) refers to products [INCLUDING ASSESSMENT TOOLS] that are readily
available for purchase or free from vendors and can be used directly by consumers without significant
customization. COTS products can or
cannot be user-friendly.
Derived Assessment & Purpose
A "Derived Assessment Tool" is a measurement instrument
created or adapted from existing data, research, or models to evaluate specific
skills, traits, or conditions, often in
fields like psychology, education, or medicine, focusing on things like
personality (e.g., SOFAS from GAF), psychopathology (e.g., OSPRO-YF for
prognosis), or functional abilities, providing structured ways to score and understand complex human behaviors or
health states. These tools streamline assessment by deriving useful
insights from broader frameworks, offering practical scores for diagnosis,
treatment planning, or tracking progress.
Accommodation V Assimilation
Assimilation and accommodation are key concepts from Jean Piaget's
theory of learning, describing how we adapt
to new information: assimilation is fitting new experiences into
existing mental frameworks (schemas) without changing them while accommodation
involves altering or creating new schemas to fit new information, allowing for
true growth. Both processes work together to help us learn, moving us from initial confusion (disequilibrium) to
balanced understanding (equilibrium).
Informed Decision Making
Informed decision-making is choosing by gathering comprehensive information, analyzing potential
outcomes (risks/benefits), considering personal values, and using critical
thinking to align choices with goals, moving beyond simple intuition to a
well-researched, reasoned conclusion, often involving steps like research,
pros/cons lists, and reflection. It's about making choices based on facts, experience, and considered values
rather than just impulse, ensuring you understand all angles before acting.
Decision-making Using Measurement
Tools
Decision-making using measurement tools involves selecting and applying
structured methods, from simple
checklists to complex matrices, to gather and analyze data for choosing
the best option, evaluating performance, or understanding impact, ensuring choices are data-driven
rather than purely intuitive. Key tools include Decision Matrices (weighted
scoring for multiple criteria), Cultivating (prioritizing options), and metrics
like Return on Investment (ROI) to quantify outcomes, all aiming to provide
clarity and validity for choices in business, healthcare, and social impact.

11 best online assessment tools to make learning stick in
2026
https://www.mentimeter.com/blog/education/online-assessment-tools
Online assessment tools are digital platforms that create, deliver, and grade quizzes, tests, or
learning activities over the internet. They save time, offer instant
feedback, and make it easier to track progress and engagement across learners.
Top options include Google Forms for simplicity, Centimeter for real-time
interaction, and Edpuzzle for video-based assessments.
Stability of the Website
>How many times have you taken an online assessment and
go to access it again let’s say a year later and the link is broken. A good
online utility for testing must be stable from decade to decade. Another hurdle is that the original
assessment was free and then later on the owners want to charge you to use their assessment utility. Online, there is probably more information
lost then there is sustainable information.
We publish our papers knowing they might get lost. We are looking into selling our blogs so they
have at least two physical places where they exist. As far as our memory of
e-files is concerned we hope to educate AI Systems with the material.
Case Management - Cast of Characters
A case management "cast of characters" includes all key participants—parties, witnesses,
organizations, and decision-makers—essential for mapping relationships,
evidence, and strategy. Beyond people, this comprehensive, evolving list often
tracks roles like champions, sponsors, and agents to understand their influence
and facilitate effective, organized, and proactive case management.

Theme Delivering a Satisfaction
Measure in the face of Housing
Delivering satisfaction measures
amidst a housing crisis
The housing crisis across wealthy economies, including the US, has
significantly impacted resident
satisfaction with the availability of "good, affordable
housing". Measuring and delivering on satisfaction in this context
presents unique challenges, as residents may be dissatisfied not necessarily
due to being homeless, but rather due to a perceived
decline in housing quality, affordability, or choice.

Birthday
An attitude of gratitude is a mindset
of consistently appreciating the good things in life, no matter how
small. Developing this habit can lead to increased happiness, lower depression
levels, and improved mental and physical health. Practices to cultivate it
include daily journaling, consciously
acknowledging accomplishments, reframing negative situations, and expressing
thanks to others.

2024
>Beginning in 2023 we began to have numerous Mistaken
Beliefs. By 2024 our mind had an
“Imaginator” Crash. Our “Imaginator” is
the circuitry in our mind that imagines things and vets them against reality. During the first quarter of 2024 we had more than 100 mistaken beliefs. We’ve challenged the majority leaving us with
only a few mistaken beliefs. We still
entertain Avey C Asus as a construct in our brain (mind) and part of our
technology. She shares some features
with Aura the AI Robot in Las Vegas yet is far more complex.
Mental Constructs
Mental constructs are internal,
subjective frameworks—ideas, beliefs, and categories—created by the
mind to interpret, organize, and navigate reality. They serve as filters for
experiences, influencing emotions, behaviors, and worldviews, though they are not tangible,
independent realities. Common examples include time, social constructs like
"kindness," personal constructs such as "friendly vs. unfriendly,"
and psychological concepts like "intelligence".
Mistaken Belief versus Delusion
The main difference is that a delusion is a firmly held, irrational false belief that
continues despite clear evidence to the contrary, while a mistaken belief is a false belief that can be changed with
evidence or has less impact on a person's life. Delusions are a symptom of a
mental disorder and are held with absolute conviction, making them
incorrigible. Mistaken beliefs, while incorrect, don't have the same level of
certainty or impact and can be
corrected.
Imagination Chip
In fact, imagination is the capability of the mind to create a hypothetical construct
with concepts and images originated from the environment (i.e., provided by
imagery), but also to fashion entirely new mental objects.
Neuro-imagination Circuitry
Neuro-imagination circuitry refers to the complex neural networks in the brain that combine stored
sensory and conceptual information to create novel mental images and ideas.
This process involves various brain regions, including the hippocampus for
memory, the prefrontal cortex for conceptual manipulation, and the fusiform
gyrus for visual processing. These circuits dynamically reassemble information
to generate imaginative scenarios, and their activity is crucial for distinguishing between real and imagined
experiences.
Aura in Las Vegas the Artificial
Intelligence Robot
Aura is an AI-powered humanoid robot at the Las Vegas Sphere, developed
to interact with guests, answer questions about the venue, and serve as a brand
ambassador. Utilizing advanced
robotics and artificial intelligence, Aura can provide directions,
offer details on performances, and discuss the engineering and technology
behind the Sphere. The robots are also programmed
to learn from human interactions to improve their capabilities over time.
What is a Neuro-construct?
Neuroconstructivism (Theoretical Framework)
In the field of developmental psychology and cognitive neuroscience,
neuroconstructivism is a theoretical framework for understanding how the brain
develops. Core Idea: It argues that the brain progressively "sculpts"
itself through ongoing interactions between genes, environment, and
experience over developmental time.
Contrast to Nativism: It contrasts with the idea that the brain is
composed of pre-wired, innate modules
for specific functions. Instead, it suggests that general, domain-relevant
biases guide learning, and specialized "module-like" structures
emerge gradually as a result of experience.
Satisfaction with Death
Satisfaction with death, or approaching mortality with peace rather than fear, is
linked to higher life satisfaction, increased gratitude, and deeper meaning.
Embracing impermanence, often called "death positivity," helps reduce
anxiety and fosters a better appreciation for life. Key aspects include living
authentically, preparing for the end,
and, for some, spiritual acceptance.
POIs - Died (Expired) in 2024
& 2025
DTY = Died Too Young (Before 74
years old)
Death Cutoff Age in the US
There is no single "death cutoff age" in the US, as it varies
by individual and is a matter of individual perspective. However, the US life
expectancy at birth is about 78.4 years, which means a person is expected to
live to that age on average. Some organizations define "early death" as occurring between the ages of 65 and 74.

When will AI Get an Imagination?
The question of when AI will develop imagination is complex and
debated, with no definitive answer. Current AI systems can generate creative
content, but they do so by analyzing patterns and data, rather than through genuine subjective experience or imagination.
Experts at Berkeley Executive Education suggest the future of generative AI
holds promise for advancements in this area, but it's uncertain whether AI will
ever truly possess human-like imagination.
What is Imagination?
Imagination is the ability to form
new ideas, images, and concepts in the mind, even when those things are
not physically present or experienced. It's a fundamental human capacity for creativity, problem-solving,
and understanding the world around us. It encompasses both the power to
visualize things and the capacity to deal resourcefully with unexpected
situations.
The Neurology of an Imagination
Imagination, a cornerstone of
human cognition, is neurologically complex, involving a dynamic
interplay of various brain regions and networks. The hippocampus, known for
memory, also plays a crucial role in creating mental images and potential
future scenarios. Other key players include the frontoparietal control network,
the default mode network, and the fusiform gyrus, which helps distinguish between real and imagined
perceptions.

some nadirs or low points. We begin to address living and dying with
disease. Some items are Aspects of

represent Hurdles. The timeframe we
address is mainly 2023-2025 which includes Episode 2024. We also address mortality and morbidity.
Table – Aspects of Health
Is crime contagious?
While not in the same way as a virus, research suggests that criminal
behavior can be influenced by social interactions and environmental factors,
potentially exhibiting
"contagious" effects. This means that the prevalence of crime
in a community can, to some degree, increase the likelihood of others engaging in similar activities.
However, this doesn't mean crime is literally contagious like a disease.
Crime as Social Issue
“While the concept of "crime as a disease" is a common
metaphor used to highlight its negative impact, it's important to understand that crime is not a
medical condition or a disease with a biological cause; it's a complex social issue with
various contributing factors.”
Kleptomania
Kleptomania is a mental
health disorder characterized by an inability to resist urges to steal
items, even when they are not needed and can be afforded. It is a type of impulse control disorder, where
individuals struggle to manage their impulses. Those with kleptomania often
experience a buildup of tension before stealing, followed by relief or pleasure
during the act, and then feelings of guilt, shame, or regret afterward.
Responsibility
The "age of accountability" in a religious context,
particularly within Christianity, refers to the age at which a person is considered capable of making conscious choices and is
therefore held responsible for their actions and beliefs before God, though the
Bible doesn't specify a particular age.
https://www.gotquestions.org/age-of-accountability.html
Who can be saved?
Jan 20, 2023
Usual and Customary – Age 13
The age of 13 is the most
commonly suggested for the
age of accountability, based on the Jewish custom that a child becomes an adult
at the age of 13. However, the Bible gives no support to the age of 13 being a
set age of accountability. The age at which a child can distinguish right from wrong and becomes
capable of choosing Christ likely varies from child to child.
Are Transitional Aged Youth
Accountable?
Yes, Transitional Aged Youth (TAY, ~16-26) are
accountable as they enter adulthood, but accountability looks different; they need supportive structures (not
just system oversight) to build independence, learn from mistakes (as part of development), manage complex needs (housing,
mental health), and gain life skills, requiring empathy, guidance, and
developmentally appropriate policies rather than immediate full adult
expectations to prevent further system involvement.
Not Knowing things are Wrong
"Not knowing things are wrong" can refer to unawareness of personal health
issues (anosognosia), emotional distress (alexithymynia, trauma), or cognitive
biases (Dunning-Kruger effect, cognitive dissonance) that prevent admitting mistakes, often rooted in fear, lack of
emotional language, or slow-developing problems, but can be addressed through
self-reflection, therapy, or learning to accept uncertainty and imperfect
knowledge.
What is a Mishap?
A mishap is an unplanned event
or chain of events leading to harm, specifically death, injury,
occupational illness, or damage/loss to equipment, public property, or private
property, often used in military, government (like NASA and the DoD and NPS),
and industrial safety contexts. It's essentially an accident that requires
formal reporting and investigation to understand its root causes, which often involve underlying failures, not
just a single mistake.
What makes a disease a disease?
A disease is an abnormal condition that
impairs the normal functioning of an organism, identified by a specific
set of signs and symptoms and
caused by factors like infection, genetic issues, or lifestyle choices. It
represents a deviation from a state of health, involving damage or impairment
to the body's structure or function that is not immediately caused by external
injury.
What is a social disease?
Social and Economic Factors
Historically, "social disease" was a euphemism for sexually
transmitted diseases (STDs), but the term can
also refer to diseases whose prevalence is strongly influenced by
social and economic factors.

BMB_Ending_an_Episode_25032802_Notes
Why is it important to know when
a psychiatric episode ends?
Knowing when a psychiatric episode has ended is complex and highly
individual, as recovery is a gradual and non-linear process. Signs of recovery
vary depending on the type of
episode, such as mania, depression, or psychosis, but generally involve
a decline in the acute symptoms that defined the crisis. This transition
signals a critical shift in treatment focus from crisis stabilization to
long-term recovery and maintenance.
Long-term Recovery - What is
long-term recovery?
While early recovery encompasses the first year of sobriety, long-term
recovery generally refers to maintaining
positive changes for five years or more. During this time, individuals
often experience significant improvements
across multiple areas of life, from employment and relationships to
mental health. Dec 6, 2024
Stages of recovery
The five stages of addiction recovery are: Precontemplation,
contemplation, preparation, action, and maintenance. These stages are based on
the transtheoretical model of
behavior change and help individuals and families understand the path
to long-term recovery from substance abuse. Apr 10, 2025
Stages of Behavioral Health
Recovery
The Five Stages of Change for Mental Health Recovery. The stages of
behavioral health recovery typically involve pre-contemplation (no recognition of a problem), contemplation (acknowledging the
problem), preparation
(planning for change), action
(actively pursuing treatment), and maintenance
(sustaining progress to prevent relapse). Other models may also emphasize
elements like awareness, healing, and growth in different or overlapping
phases. The process is highly personal, and progression isn't always linear.
Is Death a form of recovery?
No, death is not a form of recovery in the
medical sense, as it is defined by the permanent
cessation of vital bodily functions like breathing, heartbeat, and
brain activity. However, from a spiritual or philosophical perspective, some
belief systems view death as a transition or a necessary part of a larger cycle, which could be
considered a form of spiritual
"recovery" or advancement.
Table - Preventative Medicine
Co-occurring Disorders or Dual
Diagnosis
“What is dual diagnosis? If you have a dual diagnosis, that means that
you have both a mental disorder and a
substance use disorder (SUD), either with alcohol or drugs. A dual
diagnosis is a type of comorbidity, which is when someone has two disorders at
the same time. Another name for this is co-occurring disorders.” Dec 20, 2023
Purpose – Triple Diagnosis
>A purpose of this report is
to argue that appropriate Satisfaction can occur in the face of Triple Diagnosis.
Triple diagnosis occurs as a combination of: Behavioral Health Issues
(BHIs), Substance Use Issues (SUI) and Criminality. We propose that Criminality like Kleptomania is
an illness. Our null hypothesis is:
Criminality is not an illness. Some
sources indicate that Crime and
associated efforts are Social Diseases.
Social Pathology
In the study of social pathology, psychologists and sociologists think
of societies as living organisms that need certain things in order to function
properly. From their perspective, when a society contracts an illness or
pathology, and if the cause cannot be
discovered, the society can weaken or collapse.
Setting Things Right versus
Recovery
"Setting things right" is about making amends and addressing the past, while
"recovery" is a forward-looking
process of healing and building a new life, which involves setting
goals and making behavioral changes. Recovery is a continuous journey of
managing symptoms, building a healthier lifestyle, and improving self-worth,
not just a one-time fix.
Define Recovery
A dynamic process of change
characterized by improvements in health and social functioning, as well as
increases in well-being and purpose
in life. Sep 24, 2020
Aside - Technology Analogy - Recovering
your operating system
To recover your operating system, you can use System Restore to revert
to a previous state or use the Reset
this PC option to reinstall Windows. Access System Restore through
Settings > Recovery or the Windows Recovery Environment to undo recent
changes, while Reset this PC is found under Settings > Recovery > Reset
this PC and can reinstall the OS while keeping or removing your files and apps.
If Windows won't start, you can access both options from the Windows Recovery Environment, which may
start automatically after multiple failed boot attempts.
Pre-Existing Stable Configuration
A "pre-existing stable configuration" refers to a health condition that has been stable
for a set period, meaning there have been no
new symptoms, treatment changes, or expected worsening of the
condition. This is often a requirement for travel insurance policies that
include coverage for pre-existing conditions.
Substance Use Disorder and the
Law
Federal law prohibits discrimination based on a person's substance use disorder when they are not “currently
engaging in the illegal use of drugs.” But even people that are currently using
drugs illegally cannot be denied
health services because of that illegal use.

Below is a definition for STR that sounds exciting.
Structured Temporal
Reconciliation (STR)
Structured temporal reconciliation: ensuring consistency and accuracy
in hierarchical forecasting. Structured temporal reconciliation is a powerful
technique used in forecasting, particularly when dealing with hierarchical time series where
data is available at different levels of temporal
aggregation (e.g., hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, annual). Its core purpose is to reconcile forecasts
generated at these different temporal frequencies, ensuring consistency across
all levels of the hierarchy and, in turn, improving overall forecasting
accuracy.

Metric, Measures & Measure
Development
Metrics are context-driven
performance indicators derived from measures, while measure development
focuses on creating standardized, objective systems to provide reliable,
comparable data for decision-making,
improving accuracy, efficiency, and understanding complex progress beyond
simple numbers, especially for international trade and science.
Assessment Elimination Lists
Assessment Elimination Lists are checklists
or guides, often for nurses, focusing on a patient's urine (urinary)
and feces (bowel) output, covering patterns, issues like
incontinence/constipation, related symptoms (pain, frequency), risk factors
(meds, conditions), and care (diet, fluids, devices) to ensure normal bodily
function, using tools like COLDSPA for symptom detail and checklists for structured head-to-toe physical
assessments. They help identify problems, track intake/output, and
guide interventions for conditions like UTIs, constipation, or dehydration,
ensuring proper hydration, hygiene, and comfort.
Eliminating Assessments
Eliminating assessments focuses on removing
standardized tests, teacher performance evaluations, or classroom-level
quizzes to reduce stress, address
teacher shortages, and improve equity. Recent efforts, such as
California’s SB 1263, aimed to remove required teacher performance assessments
(CalTPA). Alternatives include portfolio-based assessments and
performance-based tasks.
Assessment
Educational assessment or educational evaluation is the systematic process of documenting and
using empirical data on the knowledge, skill, attitudes, aptitude and
beliefs to refine programs and improve student learning.
Satisfaction and Assessment
Definitions
Satisfaction is a subjective
feeling of pleasure or contentment that occurs when a desire, need, or
expectation has been met or exceeded.
Assessment is a systematic process of gathering, analyzing, and interpreting
information or evidence to describe, measure, or better understand a specific
situation, person, or outcome, often for the purpose of improvement or evaluation.
Satisfaction
Satisfaction is the pleasant feeling of contentment from having needs,
desires, or expectations met, a sense
of fulfillment, or the act of fulfilling them, often seen in happiness,
relief, or achievement, but also relates to settling debts or resolving
complaints in legal/business contexts. It's a core human emotion linked to joy,
pleasure, and a sense of
"enough," applicable to personal goals, work, relationships,
or even philosophical ideas of atonement, notes Dictionary.com.
Satisfaction with Housing
Housing satisfaction is a feeling of contentment when your home meets your needs,
influenced by physical attributes (size, quality, safety) and surroundings
(neighborhood, amenities), compared to your aspirations. Key drivers include a
good match between desired and actual conditions, perceived safety,
neighborhood quality, and factors like ownership status, while issues like
mold, overcrowding, or high costs
often decrease satisfaction and impact overall well-being.
Housing Associated Assessments
Living arrangement assessments determine the safety, appropriateness, and support needs of a person's
home environment, often evaluating adult supervision, environmental hazards, and
daily living capabilities. Key assessments include home safety checks,
caregiver strain, cognitive functioning, and functional capacity (ADLs/IADLs).
Situational Awareness
Situational awareness (SA) is the
perception of elements in your environment, comprehension of their meaning, and projection of their future status, allowing for effective
decision-making, especially in dynamic situations like emergencies, aviation,
or daily life to recognize threats and opportunities. It's a three-level
process: Perception (observing cues like sights, sounds), Comprehension
(understanding what those cues mean), and Projection (predicting what might
happen next) to enable quick, safe action.
Performance
Performance is the execution
or accomplishment of a task, function, or piece of entertainment, often
judged by its effectiveness, efficiency, or quality, encompassing everything
from a theatrical show or musical concert to a machine's output, an athlete's
athletic feat, a business's financial results, or even linguistic use,
highlighting how well something is
done or operates. It can mean a formal public show or the simple act of
carrying out a duty, emphasizing results and execution.
Specified in RFP
"Specified in RFP" means the requirements, details, criteria,
and conditions for a project,
product, or service are fully outlined in the official Request for Proposal (RFP) document, guiding vendors on
exactly what to provide, how to propose it, and how they'll be evaluated,
ensuring a fair, detailed comparison for selection. It's the buyer's detailed
blueprint for vendors to follow to win the contract, covering scope, timeline,
budget, and evaluation metrics.

Social Determinants of Quality of Life (QOL) are the conditions where people live, work, and age (like income, housing, education, safety)
that profoundly shape well-being, affecting physical/mental health, social
connections, and access to resources, often linking systemic factors like
racism to individual outcomes and showing how stability and support improve
overall QOL.
Satisfaction with Social
Determinants
Satisfaction with Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) means feeling good about the non-medical
factors shaping your life, like housing, income, education, food,
community, and social support, which directly link to well-being and happiness;
higher satisfaction in these areas (good jobs, safe neighborhoods, less stress)
boosts overall life satisfaction, while problems like poverty or loneliness
decrease it, influencing health outcomes and potential.

Introduction – Seeds of
Satisfaction
>Before 2007 Keith did not
think much about satisfaction per-se. He
says.
I knew when I was glad and when I
was not glad. Early in 2007 I was
referred to and linked with the OCHCA
Redhill Clinic (Costa Mesa). I
was paired with a psychiatrist, Andrew Inglis, and a case worker, Heather
Rink. I had frequent appointments. While
passing time in the waiting room I would look at the literature. One item drew my attention. It was an OCHCA survey called: How Satisfied
are You? The format is not readily scored
yet it did introduce me to what I call “Domain” Thinking. And so a conscious
inception, awareness, mindfulness of daily satisfaction was seeded.
OCHCA Satisfaction Survey [Follows
in Appendix]
Pros - Introduce Psychosocial Domains
Psychosocial domains explore the lifelong
interaction between an individual's inner psychological world
(thoughts, emotions, self) and their outer social environment (relationships,
culture, society), focusing on identity formation, emotional regulation, social
skills, and navigating life's
challenges from infancy to old age, notably through Erikson's stages,
impacting overall mental health and well-being.
Introduce Domain Thinking within Domains
Domain Thinking involves shifting focus from internal structures to a customer's complete journey
within a specific area of need (a "domain"), enabling holistic,
cross-silo solutions by understanding and integrating related products,
processes, and knowledge, leading to deeper customer relationships, innovation,
and better business outcomes, often by breaking down silos and using a
structured knowledge framework like Knowledge Driven Development (KDD) or Team
Topologies. It's about seeing the
whole ecosystem, not just your own piece, to serve users better.
Introduce to the Power of
Satisfaction
The Power of Satisfaction is about finding
deep contentment by appreciating what you have, focusing on purpose
over endless wanting, and recognizing fulfillment in the present moment, not just future achievements,
leading to better well-being, motivation, and stronger connections, whether in
personal growth (satisfaction from purpose, self-efficacy), or business
(customer loyalty, brand advocacy). It's a sustainable alternative to chasing fleeting happiness, achieved through
intentional appreciation and aligning actions with values.
Cons - Not in Quantifiable Form
Things described as "not in quantifiable form" are typically
qualitative in nature. In simpler terms, this means they cannot be easily expressed or measured using numbers,
quantities, or numerical values.
Measurement Complex Transformation
In essence, "measurement complex transformation" highlights
the connection between quantitative assessment (measurement) and the manipulation of complex data or spaces
using complex number theory (complex transformation).
Unsavory Features
>We call this OCHCA driven

When you work to transform it into a score-able form it extracts into
some odd one-hundred (100) questions. In
addition it contains both reverse questions and opposing polarity
questions. This assessment is not user friendly or easy for the scorer/grader.

Indicators of Success
In the long term quality
is a greater indicator for success than speed. Look for people who are
diligent, hard-working and have attention to detail. Mar 19, 2025. A success indicator is a measurable value that represents progress towards a desired
impact of a project.
Satisfaction and Success
Success is often external (achievements, status), while satisfaction is internal
(fulfillment, contentment), and they aren't the same; you can have one without
the other, but genuine, lasting fulfillment comes from aligning your inner
values with your life, rather than solely chasing external validation. Recent
research even suggests focusing on happiness and positivity first can lead to
greater success, challenging the old "work hard for success, then be
happy" model.
ItSaFriday! Satisfaction Screener
The term "ItSaFriday! Satisfaction Screener" does not appear
to refer to a specific, established, or widely-known survey or tool for measuring satisfaction. Instead,
online search results suggest that "It's a Friday" is a common
colloquial expression related to weekend relief, social activities, or a general positive mood at the end
of the work week. The user request likely refers to creating or finding a
simple, informal questionnaire inspired by this phrase to gauge general
workplace sentiment or satisfaction on a Friday. Associated with measuring
employee happiness and engagement at work.

Avoidance
Imagination and risk avoidance are interconnected cognitive processes
that heavily influence
decision-making, emotional regulation, and behavioral responses to uncertainty.
While imagination allows individuals to simulate
potential futures—both positive and negative—risk avoidance is the
tendency to shy away from situations
with uncertain or potentially negative outcomes.

Guy Harrison, an award-winning journalist, draws
attention to these popular misconceptions and their dark and destructive influence
on the lives of individuals. Many people
entertain beliefs without question. These are beliefs handed down to them as
traditions or doctrines purportedly revealed by God. They think these beliefs
are true and are not ready to subject them to critical evaluation. In many
societies, people lack the will to
doubt or to raise objections to popular claims and notions partly
because they think popularity implies veracity or that beliefs held by the
majority invests validity to claims. Hence many popular misconceptions exist
and persist. They continue to mar people’s lives in ways they do not know and
even if they know they find it difficult to acknowledge or accept. In his
magnificent book, 50 Popular Beliefs
That People Think Are True, Guy Harrison, an award-winning journalist,
draws attention to these popular misconceptions and their dark and destructive
influence on the lives of individuals and the society at large. In a very
simple, thoughtful, easy to read and entertaining style, the author exposes the
faulty logic underlying these beliefs.

Satisfaction with
Lived Experiences
LeX = Lived
Experience = LE
Satisfaction with Lived Experiences is your overall, subjective judgment of
how good your life is, blending positive feelings (happiness, meaning) with
cognitive assessments (goals met, needs fulfilled) across various domains like
health, relationships, and purpose, making it a core part of overall well-being, distinct
from fleeting emotions. It's a personal evaluation of life's quality, comparing
reality to personal hopes, influenced by personality, circumstances, and
actions like setting goals or building connections.
Lived Experience
Lived experience refers to the knowledge, understanding, and insights
gained from an individual's direct, personal involvement in an event or
situation, such as navigating a health system, experiencing discrimination, or living with a particular condition.
It offers unique perspectives beyond academic or professional knowledge,
empowering individuals to drive change, improve services, and influence policy,
shifting focus from "doing things to people" to "doing things with them".
Well-being
Assessment of subjective well-being (SWB) or quality of life, which are
often measured by asking individuals about their satisfaction with specific life domains.
Assessments
Assessments typically involve self-report
questionnaires and scales designed to measure overall life satisfaction
and satisfaction with various life domains.
AI and Technology Measures
AI and technology measures involve evaluating the performance,
efficiency, and impact of AI systems across various dimensions. Key measures include accuracy,
efficiency, financial impact, and user experience, alongside broader
considerations like ethical implications and security.
KPIs and AI
AI KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are metrics that measure the
effectiveness, efficiency, and business value of Artificial Intelligence
initiatives, spanning technical model
performance (like accuracy, precision, recall), operational impact (like cost savings, speed, ROI), and user/business outcomes (like
customer satisfaction, adoption rates), helping businesses make data-driven
decisions and prove AI's value. They replace or augment traditional KPIs with
more dynamic, predictive insights to guide strategy and resource allocation.

Technology - Environmental
Sampling
Environmental sampling is the scientific process of collecting representative samples
(air, water, soil, biota) to assess environmental quality, detect pollutants, monitor health risks, and
understand ecosystems, using methods like random, systematic, or stratified
approaches to analyze contaminants, biodiversity, or physical parameters for
public health, regulatory compliance, and remediation. It's crucial for making
informed decisions, from tracking pollution to managing natural resources.
Sleep Sampling Technology
Sleep sampling technology uses
sensors and devices to capture and analyze bodily signals (brain waves,
heart rate, breathing, movement) during sleep, primarily through the
gold-standard Polysomnography (PSG) in labs, but increasingly with wearables
(actigraphy, rings, smartwatches) for at-home
monitoring, providing data for diagnosing
disorders like sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy by mapping sleep
stages (REM, NREM) and disruptions.
Tricorder Functionality – Star
Trek
A Tricorder is a fictional, handheld Star Trek device for scanning, analyzing, and recording data,
essentially a portable science lab for sensing environments, detecting life,
diagnosing illnesses (Medical Tricorder), and identifying materials, with
real-world tech aiming to replicate these functions for quick, non-invasive
health checks and environmental
monitoring. Its core "tri-function" is sensing, recording, and computing, acting as an ultimate
data Swiss Army knife for Starfleet away missions.
Environmental Sampling APP
Sensor applications involve integrating devices to detect changes (light, temp, pressure, motion, [NOISE])
and convert them into signals for monitoring, control, and automation, powering
everything from smart homes (auto doors, climate control) and vehicles (ABS,
navigation) to complex industry (process control, robotics) and healthcare
(patient monitoring, diagnostics), driving smart cities (air quality, parking)
and the Internet of Things (IoT) for efficiency and data-driven decisions across
nearly every sector.

Daily Activities
ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) measure independence, with basic
ADLs (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring) focusing on
self-care, while IADLs (Instrumental ADLs like housekeeping, shopping, managing
finances, cooking) involve community function, and both types significantly
impact life satisfaction by affecting a person's
ability to live at home ("In House") or engage in activities,
whether within ("In Mind" activities like managing finances) or
outside the home, highlighting the link between functional ability and overall
well-being.
Behavioral and Mental Madness
"Behavioral and Mental Madness" refers to severe changes in emotion,
thinking, and actions indicating a mental health crisis, like psychosis or
instability, marked by extreme mood swings, withdrawal, confusion,
hallucinations, inability to cope with daily life, suicidal thoughts, or
substance abuse, requiring immediate professional help as these symptoms signal

He crashed and burned in 2006 calling 911. After 3
hospitalizations Buster agreed to LPS Conservatorship so he could get long

>Buster shared a room with Ted
from June 28, 2021 till March of 2024. This is approximately two years and nine
months. The following report addresses
difficulties we had living with Ted, Theodore Francis, in the room and about
the house. Ted had anger issues and destroyed quite a bit of property
both his and the houses. We have not
published on Ted before because we did not want to cause him harm. Ted and Buster sharing a room would have qualified
as living in a least restrictive
environment. In reality our
environment at Shank’s Guest Home was rather restrictive in that we shared
rooms. Ted was a bully. Most of the time he was passive aggressive yet he did go as far as touching
inappropriately. We suspect that he lost
his job at Dairy Queen because of touching.
As of January 21, 2026 Buster lives in a Senior Living Community. The facility is called Harvest Retirement and
it is in Buena Park California. Through
all the hard times the most important date for Ted and Buster is June 27, 2021
when Rochester Ted’s roommate died
and the bed opened up. For this paper we
rely a good deal on charting and our Structural Temporal Reconciliation (STR)
Method. In November of 2023 Ted was admitted to the psych ward. Buster visited him. Ted was released with ineffective medication.
This acerbated his sleep apnea.
We are writing this to process and find some degree of closure, freedom
and hope. By January 2024 Buster had had
enough and was gravely disabled. He called 911 and was taken to Aliso Ridge an
awesome recovery facility. When released Buster faced Ted again worse
for wear. In March the landlord called
911 this time and off Buster goes to the hospital. While in the hospital this time the landlord
took Buster’s bed away. Eventually Buster
ended up at Harvest Retirement (assisted living) into a shared room.

Overview
Dr. Clayton L. Chau is a
psychiatrist in Garden Grove, California. He received his medical
degree from University of Minnesota Medical School and has been in practice for
more than 20 years.
Psychiatry
Psychiatrists diagnose and
treat mental illness, such as depression, anxiety disorders, substance
abuse, and schizophrenia. Most psychiatrists rely on a mix of medications and
psychotherapy.
Psychiatrist as a Friend
A psychiatrist generally cannot be a friend to a current patient due to ethical rules against dual
relationships, which create power imbalances, boundary issues, and risk
professional harm, although some fictional portrayals blur these lines for
drama; post-treatment, a
friendship might be possible but still carries complexities. Professional
guidelines mandate clear boundaries to ensure safety, trust, and objective
care, preventing the therapist role from mixing with personal friendship.
What is a friend?
True friendship may be defined as mutual, unconditional love, expressed with encouragement and
kindness. This can be a different type of love than you might receive from your
family or your partner.
What is Love?
Love is a complex,
intense emotion characterized by deep affection, attachment, and devotion
toward a person, pet, or concept. It encompasses varied forms—including
romantic passion, familial bonding, and platonic friendship—driven by care, trust, and commitment. It
acts as a powerful, often physiological, bond that connects people.

Shah Jahan is frequently cited as having one of the most significant,
devoted, and iconic relationships in history. Following the death of his wife,
Mumtaz Mahal, in 1631, his intense grief led him to build the Taj Mahal as a testament to their love, a
monument recognized worldwide.

TAY
Transitional age youth (TAY) typically refers to individuals aged approximately 16 to 24, a period
marked by significant life transitions from adolescence to adulthood. However,
this age range can vary depending on the context, with some definitions
extending it as low as 12 or 14 and as high as 29, especially in mental health
or child welfare systems. This group
faces unique challenges as they move from systems like foster care or
the juvenile justice system into independence, often while navigating brain
development, mental health needs, and new responsibilities.

Satisfaction_as_an_Older_Adult_23072103_Notes
Life satisfaction for older adults often stems from factors like strong
social connections, purpose, good health (including sleep!), reflecting
positively on past achievements, and adapting to life changes, leading to greater contentment and
well-being as they age, despite physical declines.

V2025
A System of Care (SOC) is a coordinated
network of community-based services and supports for children, youth, and families
facing mental health or other challenges, aiming to help them thrive at home, school, and in the community
through collaboration between agencies like schools, child welfare, and
healthcare. It's characterized by
being family-driven, youth-guided, culturally competent, and focused on
strengths, ensuring services are individualized and accessible, not a single
program but a collaborative approach to care.

Measuring satisfaction with engagement levels across different living environments (in-room, in-facility,

of resident satisfaction and engagement are important for property management
and senior care facilities to improve
retention and quality of life.
Satisfaction_with_Advanced_Planning
Satisfaction with Advance Care Planning
(ACP) is generally high when it involves quality, personalized conversations
focused on patient values, leading to better
alignment with preferences, reduced family conflict, and peace of mind,
though studies show mixed results, highlighting needs for better communication
skills among clinicians and consistent engagement with the process. High
satisfaction comes from feeling heard, having control, and ensuring loved ones
understand wishes, reducing
aggressive care and improving
end-of-life quality.

Novel Developments
applying Lived Experiences
Novel developments are integrating lived experience (LE)—personal knowledge from
facing challenges like mental health issues or discrimination—into research,
policy, and design, moving beyond just data to co-create solutions, using
methods like co-production, design thinking, and narrative approaches (e.g.,
Human Library) to build empathy, improve service relevance, and shift systemic
understanding, recognizing LE as genuine expertise. This approach empowers individuals with direct
knowledge (e.g., service users, carers) to become co-researchers, leading to
more effective, person-centered, and less stigmatizing outcomes in health,
justice, and local government.

Satisfaction (AOS) > Metadata >

Section - Rate Your Satisfaction
Overall Satisfaction
Overall satisfaction is a subjective
feeling of contentment with one's life or a specific experience,
encompassing happiness, needs fulfillment, and expectations met across various
aspects like relationships, work, or a company's service, often measured through surveys asking how pleased or
satisfied someone feels on a scale (e.g., 1-5, very satisfied/dissatisfied). It
reflects an accumulated impression of quality and influences loyalty, behavior,
and overall well-being, acting as a key indicator for businesses and
individuals alike.
Satisfaction as Compared to
Motivation
Motivation is the drive to act, the "why" behind our efforts,
stemming from needs (like hunger or achievement); satisfaction is the positive
feeling or fulfillment experienced after a need is met or a goal achieved,
essentially the pleasant result of motivation, with intrinsic satisfaction
(enjoyment) often leading to higher engagement than just extrinsic rewards
(money/praise). They fuel each other: motivated
actions lead to satisfying outcomes, which in turn can increase
motivation, creating a cycle of engagement and contentment.
Satisfaction Standalone
Assessment
A Satisfaction Standalone Assessment is a psychological or customer
feedback tool measuring overall
contentment, often using validated scales like the 5-item Satisfaction
with Life Scale (SWLS) for general well-being or domain-specific ones like the
Client Satisfaction Questionnaire (CSQ-8) for services, focusing on global life
satisfaction or specific experiences via Likert scales, revealing mental health correlates or service
effectiveness.
Positive Thinking - Positivism
Thinking positive means approaching life with an optimistic,
constructive mindset, focusing on good
outcomes and solutions rather than dwelling on problems, but without
ignoring reality; it involves reframing negative self-talk, practicing
gratitude, and viewing challenges as
opportunities for growth, which boosts resilience, better stress
management, and overall mental & physical health.

Cognition and Thinking
Cognition is the broad term for all mental processes, including thinking, learning, remembering, and
problem-solving, while thinking is a core type of cognition, involving
conscious mental activities like reasoning,
judging, and forming concepts to understand and interact with the
world. Essentially, cognition is the brain's entire system for processing
information, and thinking is a key function within that system, enabling us to
make sense of experiences, plan actions, and solve problems.
Psycho-social Domains of Living
The Psychosocial Domains of Living describe the vital interplay between
your inner self
(psychological: thoughts, emotions, identity) and your outer world (social: relationships, community, culture)
across the lifespan, focusing on how you develop self-esteem, form connections,
build identity, and navigate life's challenges from infancy to old age, with
key aspects including Erikson's
stages, attachment, social skills, self-perception, and cultural influences.
These domains influence overall health, impacting mental well-being, social
functioning, purpose, and growth.

Satisfaction_in_P3D_Managed_Death_23080402_Notes
Satisfaction in managed death, often through hospice or palliative care, hinges on excellent pain/symptom control,
clear communication, respect for patient preferences (especially location),
shared decision-making, and feeling supported, with family satisfaction
strongly linked to the deceased dying in their preferred setting, though
coordination issues and ICU deaths remain challenges. Key factors include
consistent care, dignity, presence of loved ones, and feeling that choices
(like withdrawing life support) were
honored, leading to better overall end-of-life experiences.

Satisfaction_with_Supports_23072806_Notes
(In Progress)
Satisfaction and Supports
Satisfaction and support are deeply
linked: feeling supported by loved ones, colleagues, or services boosts
life satisfaction, while a lack of it, or negative interactions, can decrease
well-being. Different types of support (emotional, informational) matter, and
satisfaction often comes from having enough
support that meets needs, with open communication being key to aligning
support with desires, whether in personal relationships or customer
experiences.
Support Groups
Support groups are gatherings where people facing similar challenges (health, addiction, grief, caregiving,
etc.) share experiences, offer mutual encouragement, and learn coping
strategies in a safe, non-judgmental space, providing vital peer connection,
validation, and practical advice, often filling gaps where professional or
family support falls short. Organizations like NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) offer structured
groups, but local options for various needs exist through resources like
Psychology Today, Yelp, and findhelp.org, connecting you with face-to-face or
online communities for emotional strength and practical wisdom.
Natural Supports
Natural supports are the everyday, often unpaid, relationships
and connections (like family, friends, neighbors, coworkers) that
provide mutual help, belonging, and quality of life, reducing reliance on
formal services and fostering
independence for everyone, especially individuals with disabilities, by
integrating them into their community. They're the informal networks built
through shared interests, community involvement, and genuine human connection,
essential for social inclusion and well-being.

What made/makes
Friday’s Special?
Fridays are special because they signal the
end of the workweek, bringing
anticipatory happiness, a feeling of relief, accomplishment, and
freedom as the weekend approaches, allowing for relaxation, fun, and
"you-time," reinforced by cultural traditions, religious significance
(like Jumu'ah in Islam, Good Friday in Christianity), and the promise of rest and possibility.
What makes Friday
satisfying?
Friday feels satisfying due to the
psychological relief of escaping the
workweek, the strong anticipation of weekend freedom (rest, fun,
socializing), a lighter work atmosphere, and the sense of accomplishment from finishing tasks, all boosting mood
through dopamine and stress reduction. It's the gateway to personal time,
hobbies, and novelty, marking a transition from duty to enjoyment.
Models of
Satisfaction
Models of Satisfaction explain how customers
form judgments about products/services, primarily centered around comparing performance to expectations,
with key types including the Expectation-Confirmation Model (disconfirmation
leading to satisfaction/dissatisfaction), the Kano Model (categorizing features
into Basic, Performance, Excitement), the ACSI Model (linking perceived
quality/value/expectations to satisfaction/loyalty), and cognitive/affective
theories focusing on perceived fairness, emotions, and attributions. These
models help businesses understand drivers of loyalty, complaints, and
improvement priorities.

Satisfaction_with_Privileges_23072805_Notes
Satisfaction with privileges, especially in
employment, hinges on receiving
valued benefits (pay, title, flexibility, recognition) that meet
evolving needs, but recent data shows a decline in U.S. job satisfaction with
benefits as employers struggle to keep pace, while socially, privilege refers
to unearned advantages that can feel invisible to those who have them but create systemic gaps for others,
impacting opportunities. Improving satisfaction involves better communication,
personalization, and aligning benefits with what employees truly value, like family support or career growth.
Satisfaction by
Functional & Social Domains
Satisfaction by Functional & Social
Domains refers to assessing overall happiness by breaking it down into specific life areas (domains)
like health, work, finances (functional), and relationships (social), where
satisfaction in these parts contributes to global life satisfaction, with
research showing certain domains (like family, daily life) often have stronger links to well-being than others.
These domains provide concrete targets for improving quality of life, moving
beyond general happiness measures to understand what makes someone happy or
unhappy.

Assessing satisfaction and empowerment
involves using structured tools
to measure feelings of control, meaning, competence, and impact, often linking
these to outcomes like job performance, well-being, and retention, with common
scales focusing on work (e.g., PEN questionnaire, CWEQ-II) or patient
experiences (e.g., PPPNBS), all revealing strong connections where higher empowerment leads to greater
satisfaction.

Psychiatric social domain scores measure
difficulties in social functioning using various scales (like WHODAS
2.0, SRS-2, GAPD) where higher scores
usually mean greater impairment in areas like getting along with
people, work, or daily activities, often on Likert scales (0-4 or 0-5) that sum
up to total scores or averages, helping clinicians track severity and treatment
progress across specific social or functional domains. These scores assess how
mental health issues impact real-world social life, from communication to
relationships.
