The Noblest Effort Is Pursuit Of Peace And The Nobel Peace Prize.

The Nobel Peace Prize, established by Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel in his 1895 will, is internationally recognized as one of the most prestigious awards honoring individuals or organizations that have made the "most or best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies, and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses". The award serves as a global, moral imperative to recognize those who reduce violence, save lives, and stabilize conflict zones.

How come there is not world peace?

World peace is not achieved because of deeply ingrained human, economic, and political factors, including competition for resources, territorial disputes, ideological differences, and nationalistic power struggles. These issues are intensified by rising inequality, the strengthening of authoritarian powers, and the prevalence of historical grievances, often leading to conflict rather than cooperation.

Teaching Standards on World Peace

Teaching standards on world peace, often framed within peace education or global citizenship frameworks, focus on developing knowledge, skills, and values to prevent conflict and cultivate a culture of peace. Key standards promote empathy, nonviolent communication, critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and the active resolution of conflicts.

Diversion of Conflict

Diversionary foreign policy, or the diversion of conflict, occurs when leaders deliberately initiate external conflict or foreign crises to distract the public from domestic issues, such as economic trouble or low approval ratings. This strategy, rooted in the "rally 'round the flag" effect, aimed at improving internal unity and securing political power, often yields mixed and inconsistent empirical results, making its effectiveness and frequency a topic of intense debate.

Rest in Peace (RIP)

"RIP" stands for "Rest in Peace" (Latin: requiescat in pace), a phrase dating back to before the 5th century to wish eternal rest upon the deceased. It is commonly inscribed on tombstones and used to offer condolences.

Key Aspects of "Rest in Peace" (RIP):

Origin

The phrase originated with early Catholic Church traditions in Latin, appearing on gravesites to signify that the deceased is in a state of eternal sleep and reconciliation with God.

Latin Phrase

The original phrase is requiescat in pace (singular, may he/she rest) or requiescite in pace (plural).

Meaning

It signifies a desire for the departed to be free from pain and to experience peaceful rest. "Rest in peace" (often abbreviated as R.I.P.) is a traditional phrase, rooted in the Latin requiescat in pace, used to express the hope that a deceased person's soul is free from earthly suffering and has found eternal tranquility. It signifies a desire for peaceful rest and is commonly used in religious and secular tributes.

Reconciliation with God

Reconciliation with God is the restoration of a broken relationship caused by sin, bringing humanity back into harmony with Him through Jesus Christ's atonement. It involves personal repentance, acknowledging a need for a Savior, and turning away from sin to follow God's will.

Peace and Quality of Life

Peace and a high quality of life are closely related, with peace fostering conditions that allow individuals to thrive and grow without undue hardship or violence. Peaceful societies are more likely to provide access to healthcare, have stronger economies, and see increased happiness among their citizens.

Environmental Assessment for Peacefulness

Environmental assessments for peacefulness, often termed "Peace and Conflict Impact Assessment" (PCIA) or environmental peacebuilding, evaluate how development projects, environmental policies, or natural resource management affect conflict, social stability, and peace. These assessments aim to prevent conflict, foster cooperation over resources, and promote positive peace (structural conditions for peace) rather than just the absence of war.

How is it about a loss of PEACE?

A loss of peace is characterized by the replacement of inner calm with anxiety, overwhelming stress, and emotional volatility. It manifests as irritability, mental fatigue, and a loss of focus, often triggered by suppressed emotions, unmet expectations, or external conflict. This state frequently occurs when one is overwhelmed or allows external circumstances to control their internal state.

How is it we lost our Peace?

We lose our peace not by it being stolen, but by laying it down through wrong thinking, fear, and reactive living, often due to high stress, perfectionism, or unmanaged negative emotions. It slips away when we rely on self-effort over faith, allowing anxiety, bitterness, or busy schedules to create internal chaos.

What is internal chaos?

What Does Internal Chaos Look Like? | Therapy Braintree Essex

Inner chaos is an overwhelming sense of dissatisfaction and unhappiness with ourselves as humans and/or the life we are living. You are not alone; in our modern world more and more people struggle with this than ever before.

  • Compassion Satisfaction
  • Compassion Fatigue
  • Burnout
  • Secondary Trauma

Compassion Satisfaction

Compassion satisfaction is about the pleasure you derive from being able to do your work well. For example, you may feel like it is a pleasure to help others through your work. You may feel positively about your colleagues or your ability to contribute to the work setting or even the greater good of society.

Compassion Fatigue

Compassion fatigue is an evolving concept in the field of traumatology. The term has been used interchangeably with secondary traumatic stress, which is sometimes simply described as the negative cost of caring. Wikipedia

Secondary Trauma

Secondary trauma can be incurred when an individual is exposed to people who have been traumatized themselves, disturbing descriptions of traumatic events by a survivor, or others inflicting cruelty on one another.

Burnout

Although burnout has many of the same causes and symptoms of secondary trauma, burnout results from long term non-supportive…environments. It differs from secondary trauma in that exposure to clients' trauma is not the precipitating factor (Siegfried, 2008).

Abstract – Peace – 88%

>We here at Mentalation’s Solutions Group (MSG) have been receiving information this year (2017) via Facebook from Peter “Brian” Gabriel (PBG).  We place PBG in the top five (5) of our Fav rockers along with The Cars, Kate Bush, ELO, and Midnight Oil.  We first discovered PGB existed around 1974.  We began deriving our Personal PEACE Assessment tools back in 2015.  We have two types of Peace assessments: Inner PEACE Assessment (IPA) and Outer PEACE Assessment (OPA).  Our Personal PEACE (PP) peaked in 1985 at a Personal PEACE Value of 88%.

>In this report we include snapshot data for more than ten (10) timeframes.  Below we provide metadata for a video on war we wrote circa 1980, which we call Message to Mr. IRS.  It was and still is a protest song.   Lastly the reason we got going and finished this study is because we were and have been receiving material from a Facebook account called Peter Gabriel.  For now we set our formative baseline measure time as 20170420-TH where we scored: Outer PEACE Assessment Score = 56%: Inner PEACE Assessment Score = 74% and Total PEACE Assessment Value = 65%.  Go figure - Avey C.

Peaceful Environment Evaluation (PEE)

Peace and your roommate – Mikel 2019-2020

>As you age shared roommate is the most important other in your life.  Back in May of 2019 we were sharing with Mikel R.  He was relatively young and showed promise.  But, he was smoking Spice. We wrote Mikel up and in the process in 2020 we reunited him with estranged his family.  It is not like one comes into a living situation a master – there is a learning curve.

Effects of smoking Spice

Smoking "spice" (synthetic cannabinoids) can cause severe and unpredictable physical and psychological effects, ranging from intense anxiety and hallucinations to life-threatening issues like heart attacks, kidney failure, and psychosis. The effects are often much stronger and more dangerous than natural cannabis due to the chemicals binding more potently to brain receptors.

Is cannabis safe?

Marijuana is not considered entirely safe, as it carries risks including addiction, impaired brain development in youth, cognitive impairment, respiratory issues from smoking, and cardiovascular risks such as heart attacks. While legal in many areas, it can cause severe anxiety, psychosis, and detrimental effects on memory, especially with high-potency products.

Is cannabis indicated for dying people?

Yes, cannabis is increasingly used in palliative and hospice care to manage symptoms for patients with terminal illnesses, aiming to improve quality of life. It is considered a, or a, "complementary, options to alleviate pain, nausea, insomnia, anxiety, and loss of appetite, often allowing for reduced reliance on opioids."

Is wine safe?

Wine is generally considered safe for most adults only when consumed in strict moderation (up to one 5-ounce glass daily for women, up to two for men). While some studies link light red wine consumption to heart health benefits, it is classified as a Group 1 carcinogen. Moderate intake carries risks of cancer, liver disease, and dependency.

What is moderate intake of wine?

Wine and Moderation: What's Healthy? | Wine FollyModerate wine consumption is generally defined as up to one 5-ounce (148 ml) glass of wine per day for women and up to two for men, aligning with Dietary Guidelines for Americans. It is considered a "low-risk" habit rather than a health recommendation, often intended to manage caloric intake and alcohol consumption.

Personal Peace Assessment

A Personal Peace Assessment evaluates an individual’s mental, emotional, and environmental stability, aiming to identify stressors and restore harmony across life areas like health, relationships, and purpose. Common frameworks include the Peace Index (evaluating purpose, people, place, health, and provision) and the EFT Personal Peace Procedure, which uses journaling and tapping to systematically neutralize past emotional traumas.

FYI - World Peace Map

Personal Peace before Global Peace

Personal peace is the indispensable foundation for global peace, as outer conflict often mirrors inner turmoil. By cultivating tranquility, compassion, and mindfulness individually, people can reduce negativity, leading to improved relationships and a more harmonious world. World peace starts with you—here and now—through self-awareness, forgiveness, and managing emotional responses rather than waiting for external circumstances to change.

Harmony

In psychology, harmony refers to a positive state of inner peace, calmness, and balance, as well as the feeling of being tuned with the world. In the social sciences, it is used to describe a pattern of relationships within a social group and between individuals and their social context. Harmony, in psychology, represents a positive state of inner peace, balance, and alignment of thoughts, emotions, and actions, often linked to well-being. In social science, it describes balanced relationships and peaceful coexistence within social groups. It often emphasizes tolerance, cooperation, and connection with the world.

Serenity – AMB Facial Expressions

Is the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled.

Law and Order [LAW1]

Educational law rather than prosecution law

Educational-focused law, often termed restorative justice or diversionary law, emphasizes rehabilitation and addressing the root causes of behavior over traditional punitive prosecution. Key trends include diversion programs for misdemeanors, rehabilitation for juveniles, and restorative justice initiatives designed to reduce recidivism. This approach aims to repair harm rather than just punishing offenders.

Key Aspects of Educational vs. Prosecution Law

Diversionary Programs

California's AB-3234 allows courts to order diversion for many misdemeanors rather than proceeding with prosecution, focusing on rehabilitative outcomes rather than criminal records.

Restorative Justice

This approach focuses on teaching accountability, fairness, and repairing harm to the community, often using curricula that emphasize understanding the impact of actions.

Juvenile Justice Reform

Legislative changes have moved towards treating children through rehabilitation rather than adult prosecution, such as limiting the prosecution of 14- and 15-year-olds as adults, as seen in California's SB 1391.

Reduced Prosecution Models

Certain jurisdictions have adopted policies to decline prosecution for nonviolent misdemeanors (e.g., in Suffolk County and Baltimore), which has resulted in low recidivism rates.

Education for Justice (E4J)

An initiative by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime that aims to prevent crime and promote a culture of lawfulness through education.

These models aim to create a more equitable justice system by providing educational opportunities, counseling, and restorative options instead of automatic incarceration or fines.

What percentage of Americans have misdemeanors? (2025)

https://www.ncsl.org/civil-and-criminal-justice/criminal-records-and-reentry-toolkit

Approximately 45 million Americans, or about 14% of the population, have a misdemeanor conviction. Overall, roughly 77 million Americans, or one in three adults, have some form of criminal record—including arrests without conviction, charges, or convictions—which creates significant barriers to housing and employment.

Levels of Peace – Personal, Group, Global

Personal Peace

Personal peace is a deliberate, internal state of calm and mental stability maintained despite external stress, anger, or chaos. It is achieved by managing thoughts, practicing acceptance of uncontrollable situations, and cultivating positive, purposeful actions. Key methods include mindfulness, emotional release, forgiveness, and setting boundaries.

Group Peace

Trump gathers Board of Peace for first meeting, with some ...The "Board of Peace" is a newly established international organization initiated by U.S. President Donald Trump in early 2026 to, according to its Wikipedia page, promote global peacekeeping, with an initial focus on reconstructing Gaza and managing regional conflicts. Led by Trump as chairman, it operates as a, according to the American Jewish Committee, coalition of over 40 countries, aiming to, according to this YouTube video, provide $7 billion for Gaza relief, according to DW News.

Global Peace

Global peace is an ongoing, collaborative effort to create a world without violent conflict, promoting security, development, and human dignity rather than merely the absence of war. It involves building sustainable, values-based systems, promoting equality, mediating conflicts through diplomacy, and nurturing a culture of empathy and unity.

A Peaceful Inner Child

A peaceful inner child is achieved by healing, acknowledging, and nurturing the younger, often wounded, self through self-compassion, re-parenting, and mindful presence. Cultivating this peace involves visualizing a safe space, listening to, and comforting the inner child, which resolves past emotional pain and fosters joy.

Benefits of a Healed Inner Child

Improved Well-being:

Enhanced mental health and reduced emotional reactivity.

Healthier Relationships:

Better ability to relate to others and improved emotional regulation in relationships.

Lasting Peace:

A deep sense of inner calm and improved overall happiness.

I’m 13 and what to do?

That’s a big question, but a good one. Being 13 is kind of a “build your life” stage—you don’t have to have everything figured out, but it is a great time to explore and try things. Here are some solid directions you can take, depending on what you’re into:

  • Try different interests (you don’t need to pick one yet)
  • Sports (basketball, soccer, skateboarding, etc.)
  • Creative stuff (drawing, music, writing, video editing)
  • Tech (coding, game design, robotics)
  • Learning random skills (cooking, fixing things, photography)

You’re basically testing what clicks with you.

  • Do things that actually build you up
  • Exercise a bit (even just push-ups or walking)
  • Read or watch stuff that teaches you something
  • Practice something consistently (even 20 minutes a day)

Small habits now = big advantages later.

  • Make friends & social skills
  • Talk to people at school
  • Join clubs or teams if you can
  • Learn how to listen, joke around, and be a good friend

This matters way more than people think.

Stay out of obvious traps

We won’t lecture, but seriously:

  • Don’t get pulled into drama
  • Avoid stuff like vaping, drugs, or risky behavior
  • Be careful what you post online

A lot of people mess things up here—no need to.

  • Try simple “level-up” goals
  • Get better grades (not perfect—just improve)
  • Learn one useful skill (typing fast, editing videos, etc.)
  • Start a small project (YouTube channel, art page, coding project)

Also: don’t forget to enjoy life

  • Play games
  • Watch shows
  • Hang out
  • Be a kid sometimes

You don’t have to be “productive” 24/7.

Aside - Promotion - What is Chat GPT?

ChatGPT is an AI-powered conversational chatbot developed by OpenAI, designed to understand and generate human-like text, answer questions, write code, and assist with creative tasks. Based on the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) architecture, it uses learned language patterns from vast datasets to generate responses, rather than searching the internet in real-time.

Is Chat GPT Free?

Yes, ChatGPT is free to use. Users can create a free account to access core features, including text generation and web searches, via the website or mobile app. The free tier has usage limitations, such as restricted access to higher-end models like GPT-5.2 and lower message limits (e.g., 10 messages every 5 hours) compared to paid plans.
