Abstract – Brief
What follows is a list of 53
assessments used in Health and Human Service.
These assessments cover all age groups.
The Orange County Health Care Agency gifted us this list. We here at MSG fleshed them out a bit and in
the process produced the near complete list we provide here.
-
Application
We will provide a link to this
report as needed in other papers. For
now we include links to it in our Behavioral Health Referral Report and Wits
Inn Recovery Program Evaluation Report.
-
Assessment In Health & Human
Services
“We don’t know where we are going
yet we sure are getting their fast”.
This is a statement from a Project Manager. In project management you create a quality plan for accepting the
process as well as the product. In
Health & Human Services the quality plan best includes quantifiable
assessments and results from the chosen assessments. It is desirable to select your measurement tools early on in a
project (therapeutic relationship) in order to collect baseline data.
-
Rimal B Bera’s Take (Therapeutic
Relationship)
When we presented Doctor Rimal B
Bera our new Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) this list included here his
response was indifferent. In a manner
we were showing him the future.
-
Wits Inn Recovery
We share this in association with
our Rate You Program – Wits Inn Recover Report. We noticed that they did not include the results for any
programmatic or client self-assessment in their materials found online.
-
Orange County Health Care Agency
(OCHCA) - Access
The next step for the OCHCA would
be to program these assessments for electronic application and make them
available to the community at large. In
other words consumers all over the world should be able to access and take the
assessments. Entries should be
processed and interpretations sent back to the consumer automatically. A good example is the Veterans Self-Check
system below.
-
Assessment Penetration
Veterans Self-Check
You decide what's next. You may
enter the online Veterans Chat and continue talking with a Responder without
identifying yourself. You may want to get a referral to see someone in person.
Or, you can decide to do nothing further at this time. It's all up to you. No
follow-up services will be provided unless you request them.
Discussion
Here we do not discuss much. This is just provided as a resource for
selecting assessments for you own programmatic needs.
