Bacteriology 2 & Bacteriology 3
I have two skill sets that I have been able to maintain: Chemistry and Microanatomy.  As I continue to digitize – a mission in a post-modern world – I realize that I will probably only get five percent of my legacy material complete by the time I retire.  I need to find my transcripts so I can get the dates and intervals correct about my university and college studies.  Somewhere around 1983 – 1984 I took UCD Bacteriology and Lecture.  Hint: If you want to continue formal studies after completing your undergraduate work it is wise to plan for the future.  My goal was to get accepted into the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.

A Foundation In Bioscience – Practical Lab Reports
The foundational science requirement for Vet School was to take 3 of 4 classes that addressed bioscience fundamentals: Biology, Bacteriology, Botany, and/or Zoology.  I took and performed well in Biology, Bacteriology and Zoology.  The easiest one for me was Bacteriology.  I begin with sample report I wrote by hand for UVCD Bacteriology Lab or BAC-T-3.  The assignment is about E. Coli.  E. Coli remains to this day one of the most important bacteria known.  Many science offshoot specialties such as Genetic Engineering owe their progress to E. Coli.  Without further ado I will address specifications and requirements of the paper.  A significant number of bioscience majors opt to take Biology (BIO-SCI-1) first.  The lab portion for BIO-SCI-1 allocates substantial resource time and materials to get the student’s lab reporting on track.  By the time you get to the BAC-T-3 concise one page format (included here as General Requirements) you most likely have completed a more exhaustive report specified in across multiple page in a lab manual.  I earned a “Satisfactory” on my report: The Growth of Escherichia Coli ML-30.  The comment “OK but show some numbers” is really important.  Hint-hint: The purpose for an Abstract is for showcasing all numbers (data) if few and the most important numbers if many.  Look it over: Something may be helpful.
